During this first introduction to the radio, we will learn the basics of its language and the several expressive and narrative possibilities provided by this medium. For that, we will focus on producing 4 of the most commonly used radio genres: news, reports, interviews and features. At the end of the semester, students –organized by groups– will have to produce a 20 minute radio program including news, reports, interviews, a feature, and several other elements. The information will have to be organized in varied sections: politics, economics, society, culture, sports, and service information at the end.
The teaching material is composed of the 5 Power Point presentations incluing audio files, as well as of the mandatory literature.
